Experienced Baker (Full time)   Posted 2/27/22

We are looking for someone who has experience with artisan breads; experience with production, mixing bread dough, bench work, and some baking. Experience with laminated doughs is a plus but not a requirement. We are also considering someone with food experience with motivation to learn. 

Skillsets we are interested in: familiarity/knowledge with bread production using natural levain, working with laminated doughs and oven work, hand skills in dividing and forming doughs.

We are looking for someone with experience but would be willing to train the right candidate who is looking for long-term work.

This is for a full time, year round position - A pleasant working environment and Vermont's first artisan bread bakery.

We are looking for people who are punctual, detail oriented, good team workers and self motivated. Must be able to work well in a team and have good communication skills. We strive to create a respectful, professional environment and take pride in delivering a high quality, consistent product to our customers.

Compensation: For experienced bakers, pay to be commensurate with ability/experience. For those with limited experience, pay starts at $15/hr.

Packing & Delivery (part time)

We are hiring for part time, year-round delivery positions on Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Must have a good driving record and able to lift 50 lbs. The shifts entail slicing, bagging breads, packing orders and delivering to local stores in the Shelburne and Burlington area.

Saturdays 6am - 2pm
Sundays 6am - 2pm
Mondays 6am - 2pm

We are looking for someone to join our team who is reliable, pays attention to detail and would enjoy communicating with customers and employees when delivering to stores.

Bakery Production (Part time)

We are looking for someone to help with a variety of production and prep needs in the bakery (for example: shaping breads, making preferments, cookies, weighing ingredients, prep work, etc.)

Bread experience or food production experience is a plus but not required.

Wednesday, 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Thursday, 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Friday, 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Mondays 9:30am - 1:30pm
