Panettone

For those who are unsure, what is panettone? Traditional across Italy at Christmas, and now increasingly enjoyed on special occasions throughout the year, these "exceptional products are remarkably tender with an intense aroma, incredible softness and especially good keeping qualities. Panettone has sparked ...a passion among an increasing number of connoisseurs and food lovers."

*Italian panettone master Mauro Morandin remarked, "Panettone is a fairy tale on the table."

Serving Tip : Panettone should always be eaten warm to reveal its gloriously soft texture. Bringing it up to about 30 degr. C (85 degr. F) before serving brings out the best in its flavor and texture.
